(FSHN 326) Advanced human nutrition, with emphasis on the biochemical functions of nutrients essential for humans. Course emphasizes the role of essential nutrients in fuel metabolism, cell biology and biochemistry, gene expression and the synthesis of proteins, and generation of energy from metabolic fuels.
Same as NUTR 426. Prerequisite: FSHN 220, or FSHN 120 and FSHN 414, and MCB 350 or concurrent enrollment.
