Explores the multifaceted issues and trends shaping the contemporary healthcare landscape. Focusing on evidence-based approaches, social determinants of health, structural biases, and health inequities, students will critically analyze challenges and propose strategies to advance healthcare knowledge and promote health equity. Through engaging discussions, data analysis, case studies, and practical exercises, students will develop essential skills for effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and cultural competence in the context of healthcare leadership.
Prerequisite: Restricted to Master of Health Administration, MHA program, or consent of the instructor.
