Students will explore the healthcare revenue cycle's key components, including patient registration, charge capture, coding, billing, and reimbursement processes, and develop proficiency in multiple coding systems to accurately document and bill for healthcare services. Students will also study best practices for revenue cycle optimization, including revenue capture and revenue cycle workflow improvements.
