Examines the prevention and treatment of athletic injuries. Emphasis will be given to injury mechanisms, means of injury prevention and treatment, and emergency care applied to various types of sport related injuries. Designed for individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in athletic training, physical therapy, or sports medicine related field.
