Examines the strategic integration of social marketing and communication in health education and promotion programs and services. Students examine the use of emerging technologies and social media and learn best practices for designing, implementing, and evaluating social media campaigns and forums for different audiences and sectors. They gain knowledge about audience-appropriate health education programs and communication using health behavior theories, as well as ethical issues pertaining to social marketing and communication.
