Honors section of FSHN 120: Contemporary Nutrition. Explore the impact of food on health and wellness with an emphasis on critical thinking, reflective learning, and experiential engagement. Students will examine nutrition concepts in depth, connect course material to real-world issues such as food insecurity and health disparities, and collaborate on applied projects designed to strengthen academic and professional skills. As an Honors section, the course emphasizes discussion, active learning, and leadership in both classroom and community contexts. ***If you’re a James Scholar or honors student who wants to complete an honors project in FSHN 120, you may enroll in the online section (CRN 57561).
