Topics include: (1) IT, Internet Technologies, E-Commerce and business models, (2) organizing and modeling enterprise data, (3) Network protocol and architecture, (4) development of IT systems, and (5) IT management and organization design.

This section will open to all students in the Gies College of Business and Informatics Minor students on Monday, April 20, 2026 at approximately 10:00 a.m. This section will open to all of campus to allow Business Minor and prospective Business Minor students the option to register for this elective not offered as an online option on Monday, April 27, 2026 at approximately 10:00 a.m. There are currently 5 seats reserved for Gies College of Business international exchange students only (any exchange students outside of GCOB who try to register will be removed); any unused seats will be released to students meeting the restrictions on Friday, August 28, 2026 at approximately 10:00 a.m. This is an elective course for undergraduate students pursuing the business minor.
