The role of pricing in contemporary marketing and major pricing decisions facing the firm; theoretical, economic, and practical methods and models for setting prices; pricing new products, initiating price changes, and responding to competitive pricing; the relationship of pricing objectives and strategies to the goals of the firm; and sealed bidding for contracts.

Prerequisite: BADM 320.

Prerequisites will be enforced. This course will open to all students in the Gies College of Business on Monday, November 18, 2019 at approximately 10:00 a.m. This section will open to all of campus to allow Business Minor and prospective Business Minor students the option to register for this elective not offered as an online option on Monday, December 2, 2019 at approximately 10:00 a.m. There are currently 10 reserved seats for Gies College of Business international exchange students; any unused seats will be released to students meeting the restrictions on Friday, January 24, 2020 at approximately 10:00 a.m. Any exchange students outside of Gies College of Business that register will be removed from the course. This is an elective course for undergraduate students pursuing the business minor.
