Through this dynamic course, you’ll learn about the essential components of board games and how they work together through playing and teaching published games. Then, you'll create your own game inspired by what you’ve learned. With hands-on activities that teach essential design thinking principles incorporated into the comprehensive board game design process, you'll unleash your creativity and refine your game design skills! This class is a perfect elective for building your communication and teamwork skills as well as developing the framework to understand complex concepts like abstraction, modularity, feedback, iteration, visual communication and user experience – All while learning about the booming world of board games. Let’s play!
