Examines how firms design and manage logistics systems that coordinate the flow of materials, products, and information across supply chains. Students build a foundation in purchasing, warehousing, inventory, order fulfillment, and transportation, and develop analytical skills for smarter logistics decisions. The course emphasizes cost, service, and responsiveness trade-offs, with attention to contemporary topics including last-mile delivery, warehouse automation, and digital tools such as ERP/SAP, TMS, WMS, IoT tracking, and AI-enabled visibility technologies.
