- In this course, you will learn about the analytics process of extracting business and economic insights, starting from a variety of structured and unstructured data sources. The course teaches the use of Python programming language for data science applications. You will learn techniques such as statistical inference, supervised and unsupervised machine learning, and text analytics through hands-on exercises in Python. This section will open to all students in the Gies College of Business on Monday, April 20, 2026 at approximately 10:00 a.m. There are currently 5 seats reserved for Gies College of Business international exchange students only (any exchange students outside of GCOB who try to register will be removed); any unused seats will be released to students meeting the restrictions on Friday, August 28, 2026 at approximately 10:00 a.m.
