Equips students with the knowledge and skills to effectively manage and utilize information in healthcare settings. Students will examine the role of informatics in healthcare decision making, learn about electronic health records, and explore the impact of health information systems on patient care and organizational efficiency. To ensure relevance and applicability of course content, contemporary examples will be incorporated throughout the program, offering real-world scenarios of informatics applications in modern healthcare settings.
Prerequisite: Restricted to Master of Health Administration, MHA program.
