Organization and Strategic Planning in Healthcare

Credit: 4 hours.

Can healthcare be all things to all people and still be successful? As future healthcare leaders, strategic planning is essential to lead and manage healthcare organizations efficiently and effectively. You will develop your strategic planning skills by exploring topics such as: understanding and analyzing the health care environment, competitive advantages, development of strategic alternatives, and development, communication, and evaluation of plans.

Prerequisite: Restricted to Public Health, MPH; Epidemiology, MPH; or Master of Health Administration, MHA programs.
