Intro to Biometrics in Media
Section Info:
This course introduces students to the use of biometrics in media research. Students will learn how biometrics may help illuminate the underlying psychological processes and effects that occur as people engage with media. They will also gain familiarity with the scholarly literature in this area. Finally, students will get hands-on experience in biometrics research methods, including the collection and analysis of eye-tracking, facial expression, heart rate, skin conductance, and respiration data. Meets with ADV 490 BIO (61096).
