Credit: 1 hours.

Maintains the instrumentation of a large concert band. The high quality band literature is technically less difficult than that of MUS 268-MUS 271. Open to all students who have been accepted by audition, with assignments made according to proficiency and instrumentation. Completion of each course involves, in addition to the regular schedule of rehearsals, participation in public performances by the band.

May be repeated in separate terms. Prerequisite: Consent of instructor.
