Credit: 3 hours.
(SPAN 200) Readings and discussion in Spanish of a variety of texts by leading Hispanic and Hispanic-American writers covering genres and themes; designed to emphasize reading, discussion, and enjoyment rather than literary criticism. Open to non-Spanish majors.
Credit may be received by Advanced Placement "Language" or "Literature" examination. Does not count for credit toward the major. Prerequisite: SPAN 140 or SPAN 141 or equivalent.
All seats reserved for Spanish and Spanish Education majors during the early registration period. Non-registered students are not allowed to sit in or audit.
