Principles of Biochemistry in Animals

Credit: 3 hours.

Comprehensive study of biomolecule structure/function and the metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, nucleic acids, vitamins, and coenzymes, with emphasis on energy transformations and metabolic regulation in animals.

Prerequisite: CHEM 232 or CHEM 236, or equivalent.
