Global Perspective
Section Info:
Title: Advanced seminar on learning technologies and human development in global perspective Description: Learning technologies promise a wealth of potential to enhance teaching and learning, especially for marginalized learners who may not have access to quality educational opportunities. The Covid-19 pandemic intensified technology use across and within countries with a dramatic expansion of online remote learning. Given the growth of digital access in even the poorest communities, this seminar will focus on technology innovation to support learning equity in global perspective. Some of the topics covered through this seminar include: socio-cultural barriers impacting technology-based learning outcomes, design and implementation approaches specific to low-resourced contexts, and the role of public-private partnerships.
