Explores theories of creativity; situates creativity and creative practices within the social structure of organizations that develop creative content; examines the relationship between creative strategy, creative concepts and creative executions; exposes students to the practice of creating content for traditional and non-traditional media vehicles.

Advertising majors will be given first priority for registration.

Priority for registration is given to ADV and CS+ADV senior majors who started their collegiate coursework prior to or in Fall 2022 and who expect to graduate no later than Spring/Summer 2026. If seats are available, they will be released to junior majors who began coursework in Fall 2023 on April 18 by Noon. Note: This course will NOT open to students in the Advertising, Media, or PR Minors. Non-majors interested in creative advertising coursework should see ADV 391.
