Jazz Aural Skills II is a continuation of ear training for the jazz musician and composer. The ability to hear all parts of a tune - chord changes, rhythmic patterns, and the harmonic implications of the chord extensions is considered a fundamental essential skill of the professional jazz and commercial musician.

2 undergraduate hours. 2 graduate hours. Prerequisite: MUS 107, 108, 17, 173 and 435, or by consent of instructor.
