Study of the major processes involved in an individual's adjustment to the communication situations of everyday life; emphasis on the development of interpersonal competency and orientations, social perception, interpersonal sentiment and hostility, trust, and the social context as factors influencing the understanding and evaluation of interpersonal messages.
