Topic: Legal French and the French Legal System. The French legal system has a completely different basis than the Anglo-American legal system. Therefore this course will combine an understanding of the philosophical and structural underpinnings of the French system, as well as practical information and vocabulary development. Students will learn about the French legal system, legal personnel, and legal institutions as well as common vocabulary relating to French law. This section restricted to undergraduates.
