(EDPSY 492) Provides a broad picture of the nature and conditions of classroom learning. Considers analysis of knowledge; institutional constraints on teachers; characteristics of instruction and instructional materials for reading, social studies, and science; social context of learning; motivation and interest; questioning and discussion; and learning strategies and study skills. Intended for doctoral students with a special interest in research leading to the improvement of classroom teaching and learning.
Same as PSYC 554. Prerequisite: Consent of instructor required.
