Freshwater Invertebrates
Credit: 3 hours.
Freshwater Invertebrates surveys the diversity of freshwater invertebrates, including their life history and ecology, and introduces students to the identification of these organisms. Students are evaluated by a short paper, a series of identification quizzes, the completion of a freshwater invertebrate collection they keep at the end of the class, and a final exam on freshwater invertebrate identification. Freshwater Invertebrates includes two Saturday, half day field trips.
Additional fees may apply. See Class Schedule. Credit is not given toward graduation for: NA. Prerequisite: IB 104 or IB 150, and IB 151.
