Networking infrastructure has been evolving over the years to support increasing demands for higher performance, new functionality, and flexibility. Students are introduced to cutting-edge research and industrial advancements in networking. Lectures focus on recent papers that propose or use unconventional designs for network stack, interface cards, or switches. The papers are systems oriented, focusing on challenges associated with designing and implementing network systems covering the latest topics.

Prerequisite: ECE 438 or CS 438.
