Computer Packages in Health Research

Credit: 2 hours.

Introduces students to computer packages with the aim of programming and data management for public health, clinical and biomedical data. After this course, students should be able to manage epidemiological and clinical datasets, conduct statistical analyses and present the results graphically. The course is recommended for graduate students interested in pursuing careers in epidemiology, community health, and other fields that involve health data analysis.

2 graduate hours. No professional credit. Prerequisite: Restricted to Public Health, MPH; Epidemiology, MPH programs.
