Credit: 3 hours.
This course is designed to offer practical experience opportunities to undergraduate Kinesiology students aspiring to work in applied exercise fields with a diverse aged population. It will entail extensive "on the job" training through the Lifetime Fitness Program, an older adult service program of the Department of Health and Kinesiology. Additionally, students will gain training in current program management practices.
May be repeated in separate terms for a maximum of 6 hours. Prerequisite: HK 352 or consent of instructor is required. A current CPR is required at the beginning of the term and certification must remain current.
