Professional Seminar in Physical Education

Credit: 3 OR 4 hours.

Examination of relevant issues regarding professional development in K-12 physical education. The primary emphasis is on understanding motor behavior, teacher-learner behavior and the interrelatedness with other aspects of the learning environment, personal reflection, and the transition from student to teacher. Provides supervised practice in observing, assisting, and teaching children in elementary and secondary levels.
