This course will meet in 4001 BIF. The course is proposed to be a survey / overview of the state and trends in empirical research in operations management. Therefore, we will cover a wide domain of applied research topics in operations management. Since, the focus is on empirical research, methodologically we would cover a wide variety of research design methodologies such as application of statistical, econometric, and machine learning based method on different types of data related to several topics in operations management. The course content and structure is based on reading and analyzing published research papers in leading operations management journals.
