This course aims to help students to develop a deep understanding of how organizations work from an economic point of view and covers six prominent theories of organizations: (1) Behavioral Theory of the Firm; (2) Transaction Costs Theory; (3) Property Rights Theory; (4) Agency Theory; (5) Dynamic Resource-Based Theory; and (6) Game Theory.
