Credit: 1 hours.

Maintains the instrumentation of the standard band, and serves as a training organization for the Symphonic Bands. The literature studied and performed is of the highest caliber and technical difficulty. Open to all students who have been accepted by audition, with assignments made according to proficiency and instrumentation. Completion of each course involves, in addition to the regular schedule of rehearsals, participation in public performances by the band.

May be repeated. Prerequisite: Consent of instructor.
