This course is intended for the promotion of healthy musical and lifestyle habits and choices, as well as enhancement as a performer and teacher through knowledge of all aspects of their musical selves - physical, psychological, and spiritual. The course will focus on general self-care but will also cover the four target areas identified by the Health Promotion in Schools of Music Conference as crucial for musicians: musculoskeletal issues, hearing conservation, voice care, and psychological issues.

2 undergraduate hours. 2 graduate hours. Prerequisite: Music students, or instructor approval.
