The practice of making, creating, and experiencing music studied from a psychological perspective. Covers a range of psychological issues of interest to musicians and music educator, with the aim of challenging students to consider new ways of thinking about and participating in music as a result of having developed informed approaches to their own musical development and that of others.

Prerequisite: Graduate standing in music education.
