Group instruction in beginning piano for music majors whose principal performing medium is voice, or an orchestral or band instrument. Study of simple piano literature, development of skills in technique, sight reading, harmonization, transposition, improvisation, and analysis.

This is the first of two courses that addresses the keyboard competency policy for non-piano majors.
