Introduction to Physics Research is designed for second-semester juniors interested in pursuing physics research careers and advanced physics training. The course introduces students to current research topics through extensive reading, writing, and oral-presentation activities. Students generally become involved in a research group at this time, leading to a full-time summer research experience.

3 undergraduate hours. Prerequisite: Physics major junior standing or consent of instructor.
