(SOC W 315) Focus on the aging process, special needs of older adults, and the role of social work in addressing these needs. All levels of social work intervention are considered, including direct work with older persons and their families, service delivery systems in local communities, and state and national policies. Special consideration is given to older women and older persons of color.

Prerequisite: Admission to MSW program, or consent of instructor
