Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics

Credit: 1 hours.

This is self-directed learning in pharmacology, where students review drug classes, covering mechanisms of action, side effects, therapeutic uses, and contraindications. Weekly case-based session integrate pharmacological principles with clinical decision-making.

1 professional hour. Approved for S/U grading only. May be repeated in separate semesters to a maximum of 12 hours. Prerequisite: Completion of the first year. Restricted to students enrolled in the Carle Illinois College of Medicine.
