Student Success Librarianship
Section Info:
Student success librarianship is a rapidly growing field. However, what does student success mean, and what does it entail, particularly within the context of academic libraries? Academic librarians need to have a strong understanding of their continually growing diverse student population to effectively design and adapt services to support students. This course will examine student success librarianship and help students learn about the multiplicity of ways that academic libraries develop and provide student success initiatives. Prerequisites: IS 505 - Information Organization & Access (formerly IS 501) and IS 510 - Libraries, Information & Society (formerly IS 502).
