EPOL 280

Spring 2026 All Classes

All Classes

Credit: 3 hours.

Students learning about mass extinction, dying oceans, and climate injustice often struggle with feelings of anxiety, guilt, or despair. Few teachers know how to teach about climate change while supporting their students’ well-being and hopes for the future. As terms like "eco-anxiety" become common, sustainability education is beginning to acknowledge the role of emotions. Students will explore regenerative paradigms and actively co-create just futures where humans learn and all species thrive on a warming planet.
