Introduces students to using and understanding generative AI through hands-on creative projects and conceptual exploration. Students will use AI tools to create websites, images, music, videos, study guides, data analyses, and personal assistants, gaining practical experience with AI's capabilities and limitations. The course explores how AI systems learn, the infrastructure and data required to train and deploy models, and the history of AI development. Throughout, students examine fundamental questions about intelligence, AI's societal impact, and how to support human flourishing in an age of increasingly capable AI.
