An integrations of previous knowledge into the planning, development, and management of business strategy in a competitive setting in recreation, sport and tourism (RST) industries. Students acquire in-depth knowledge and critical understanding of the environment in which RST organizations operate, the strategic planning and management processes, industry and competitive analysis, strategies to build competitive advantage, and problem-solving skills for addressing internal and societal issues facing the organizations.

Prerequisite: RST 512, RST 515, RST 516, or consent of instructor.
