Fundamentals of weed biology, ecology, and management. Emphasis placed on basic principles that are relevant to both crop and non-crop ecosystems; specific management strategies used in these different ecosystems are introduced. Includes identification of common weeds of Illinois and an overview of the use and modes of action of major herbicide groups.

Prerequisite: CPSC 112.
