Seminar in topics of organizational behavior and organizational theory. Topics include: Seminar in Organizational Behavior (explores current and classic research in the field of organizational behavior); and Seminar in Organizational Theory (explores current and classic research in the field of Organizational Theory).

May be repeated in the same or separate terms to a maximum of 8 hours, if topics vary. Prerequisite: Ph.D. standing in BADM or consent of instructor.

This course will meet in 343L Wohlers Hall. This is a doctoral seminar in organization theory. The purpose of the class is to familiarize aspiring researchers with the major bodies of thought in the field. The course covers both classic and contemporary research. It is intended to help you develop a schema for understanding organizations and organization-environment relations. The course is appropriate for PhD students in organizational behavior and other related fields of study.
