Human-centric Research for Designed Environments

Credit: 4 hours.

Introduces research methods and techniques for investigating the relationship between people and designed environments they inhabit. Approaches for gathering and analyzing social and behavioral data are introduced. Results are applied as evidence in environmental design decision-making to achieve healthier environments.

Same as LA 563. Prerequisite: Graduate standing in architecture, landscape architecture, or urban and regional planning or consent of instructor.
