Architecture and Medicine

Credit: 4 hours.

Outlines the historical development of the hospital in tandem with changes in medical knowledge and practices and provides a critical review of research that links principles in healthcare design to process and outcome variables. Students reflect on applications of science to design decision-making and engage in a research project.

4 graduate hours. Same as BSE 603. 4 professional hours. Approved for both Letter and S/U grading.
