Focuses on the advanced study of aphasia, the communication disorders resulting from adult-onset neurological impairments, and adult-onset neurogenic communication disorders (right hemisphere disorder and primary progressive aphasia). The students will engage in critical analysis of the research literature, examination of current theories regarding aphasia and related disorders; evaluation of existing paradigms of diagnosis and intervention.
