Interpreting Clinical Research in Speech & Hearing Science

Credit: 3 hours.

Designed to examine how the field of Speech and Hearing Science creates knowledge or evidence to support the assessment and intervention of individuals with communication disorders. Students will gain an introductory understanding of clinical research methodology and become familiar with the process of selecting evidence-based practices.

Prerequisite: Sophomore standing or consent of instructor.
