Introduction to Contemporary Performance Practice

Credit: 3 hours.

This practice-based course explores how to collaboratively create performances. Devised performance creates theatre "from scratch," often through improvisation and ensemble exercises. Focus on developing skills for working with an ensemble to create and adapt text, design, technology, and performance through in-class workshops and a final project.

Prerequisite: THEA 102, THEA 103.
