Topics will include key ideas from the history of play, play and nature, play in human development, play in learning, play spaces, games and play, play in art, and the role of play in futurist thinking. Students will develop a broad understanding of the interconnectedness of play in different contexts and move beyond common misconceptions of play as something that is only for children.
