Animal Ethics
Credit: 3 hours.
Explores ethical issues raised by human use of animals. Students will be asked to apply philosophical perspectives to historical and current animal issues such as raising animals for food production, the keeping of pets, management and use of wild animals, use of animals in research, animal breeding and biotechnology, and animal control.
